Our focus is on D&D. We think it is the most creative, immersive, and social table top game ever made. However, it’s become bogged down by unnecessary complexity, stories that drag and a geeky stereotype that is not helping in increasing the player base. Plot armor protects main characters, choices feel scripted, and long campaigns often lose their spark from slow pacing and low stakes.

We want to break that.
Origin Studios is about cutting through the fluff—making gameplay flow, choices actually matter, and stories that hit harder because the danger is real. No hand-holding, no forced narratives—just high-stakes, player-driven chaos with room for role play, imagination and unforgettable moments.

Our first adventure, The Midnight Masquerade, was written to hook my gamer friends. It’s fast, competitive, and a little unforgiving—which is exactly why people love it.

I honestly started Origin Studios after dragging countless friends into playing D&D. They all thought it would be a nerdy boring waste of 3 hours and they ended up loving it. I started playing around 5 years ago and have been obsessed since. I remember my friend telling me it is like a video game with endless worlds and complete freedom. I try to recreate that feeling of endless options when running games. I enjoy DMing because it gives me the opportunity to create a super imaginative worlds. I created our first adventure, a one shot called the Midnight Masquerade, as a entry point for my video game obsessed friends to try D&D. It is competitive and unforgiving and that is what people keep loving it for. I am excited to grow our community and love hearing all the stories that other groups create with our adventures.
